Concealed-Carry Permit Law Passes House, Faces Uncertain Future

The House has approved a bill that would make concealed-carry permits legal across state lines.

Fox News reports the Concealed Carry Reciprocity Act passed 231-198, with six Democrats voting in favor of it. Fox News also reporting the NRA called the bill, “the most expansive piece of self-defense legislation in the history of Congress.” New York Democratic congressman Jerrold Nadler called it “a gift to the gun lobby.”

It is now headed to the Senate, where it faces an uncertain future.
