Entire U.S. Senate Called to W.H. for North Korea Briefing

The entire U.S. Senate was invited to the White House for a briefing on North Korea, amid rising tensions between the U.S. and North Korea.

It is rare for all 100 senators to be called to a briefing. Secretary of State Rex Tillerson, Secretary of Defense Jim Mattis, Chairman of Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen. Joseph Dunford and Director of National Intelligence Dan Coats will hold the briefing Wednesday.

The briefing was first reported by Reuters. Fox News reports it was confirmed after President Trump spoke to leaders of China and Japan.
