Customer satisfaction with life insurance plans has hit a record high, according to the J.D. Power 2017 U.S. Life Insurance Study.
The survey found satisfaction among U.S. individual life insurance customers hit the all-time high of 785 on a 1,000 point scale, up 16 index from points last year. The biggest reason is price, customers are more satisfied with improvement in prices of life insurance. The study found multiple policy discounts were especially appealing.
As for which life insurance company ranks the highest in customer satisfaction? State Farm was number one for the fourth consecutive year, MetLife ranked second, Pacific Life was third.
