House Speaker Paul Ryan says he will launch a "rescue mission" and work with GOP leaders to repeal and replace Obamacare.
Ryan says he wants to save Americans from high premiums and the lack of choices under the Affordable Care Act. Ryan says the ACA is in 'a death spiral' and is 'collapsing.'
During a CNN town hall event with Ryan, a cancer survivor -- who said he was lifelong Republican -- thanked President Barack Obama for the ACA and said he would be dead if it weren't for him.
The House will now vote on a law that sets the stage for the repeal of Obamacare. It passed the Senate, Thursday, 51-48.
