ISIS Claims Responsibility for Berlin Truck Attack

ISIS says they carried out the truck attack that killed 12 people and injured dozens. Through their news agency, the Islamic State said on Monday one of their soldiers drove a truck, and plowed into a crowded Berlin, Germany Christmas market.

On Monday, Berlin Police arrested a suspect. He's now been released. USA Today reports the suspected is a Pakistani man who moved to Germany last year. He was released because there was no forensic evidence that connected him to the cab of the truck.

German Chancellor Angela Merkel called the incident an assumed terror attack and The BBC reports she said she will punish those responsible "as harshly as the law requires."

As of now, the suspect or suspects might still be on the run.
