Michigan's attorney general says he will file a suit to stop a U.S. presidential election recount request from Green Party candidate Jill Stein. Republican Bill Schuette said in a tweet that it's inexcusable for Stein to put Michigan votes at risk and potentially cause them to lose their voice in the Electoral College.
Meantime -- Michigan's elections board will consider a request from President-elect Donald Trump to block Stein's request.
Fox News reports Trump's lawyers called Stein a "bottom-dwelling candidate" and said the recount didn't affect her personal election results.
Reuters reports some supporters have filed lawsuits of their own in attempt to stop the recount in Michigan as well as recount requests in Pennsylvania and Wisconsin.
